The Story Behind Us This journey began not with the intention to sell, but to heal—both myself and others. After spending over three decades as a dedicated ophthalmologist, I stepped away from the operation theatre to return to my childhood love: art. But this wasn’t just about creating—it was about finding peace, purpose, and power after surviving years of abuse, cancer, and solitude. Art became my voice when words fell short. As I poured my soul into paintings, handcrafted crochet, and sculpture work, I found others—especially women—who had also lost themselves in the chaos of life. They too longed for a platform to express, to create, and to rise. That’s how this website was born. Not as a commercial venture, but as a movement. A platform where I could share my art and simultaneously uplift women artists, artisans, and survivors who have immense talent but limited means or confidence to showcase it. Every piece sold here carries a story—not just of creativity, but of courage, hope, and healing. Profits aren’t the goal—empowerment is. Half of all proceeds go directly to causes close to my heart, especially girls’ education and women’s welfare. Through “Aneyeforart,” I hope to create a safe and dignified space where art becomes a tool for transformation, and every purchase helps light someone else’s path. This is more than a website.
